Today, Thursday, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed that there is an exaggeration in the purchase prices of medical devices in the Nineveh Governorate Health Department, indicating that the total amounts of purchasing these devices amounted to approximately (700,000,000) million dinars.
According to a statement received by Mawazine News, the Authority's Investigation Department stated that "the staff who transferred to the governorate's health department carried out (6) separate control operations, during which they were able to detect exaggerations that accompanied the purchase of medical devices for the department, as well as the division of contracts in violation of the law." .
She added, "The staff of the Directorate, after its audit and follow-up, seized the first contracts for the purchase of devices in the Contracts Department of the Department of Health, especially contracts for the purchase of two portable sonar devices of Korean origin, two blood gases of American origin, and (30) Dutch microscopes, in addition to (8) sterilization devices." Italian, (5) patient monitors of English origin, and two German fracture tables.
She indicated, "Organization of original seizure records, and presenting them, along with the initial purchase of the seized devices, whose value amounted to (698,700,000) million dinars, to the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court specialized in cases of integrity to complete the appropriate legal procedures."
