     Baghdad: Hoda Al-Azzawi
    And Muhannad Abdel Wahab
After completing the redistribution of deputies among the (25) parliamentary committees, the House of Representatives continued its sessions to elect the heads and deputies of those committees. The Council takes over the committees - especially the important ones - and marginalizes and excludes them from those sensitive sites.

A member of the House of Representatives, Rebwar Rahman, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “What happened in the distribution of the committees is the exclusion of six deputies from independents and emerging forces in a programmed manner, and they were removed from the main committees in the House of Representatives without mentioning the reasons,” adding that “the hidden goal It is not to allow deputies and bold blocs to be present within the main committees, or rather the committees in which the most controversial issues for the state and the citizen are discussed.
He pointed out that “the components have the right to assume all positions, and we have heard about their marginalization, but this is not strange in the event that the participating blocs in the government struggle over the chairmanship of the committees,” noting that “the components are not the only ones who have been marginalized, but the emerging forces such as (the generation Al-Jadeed), (Emtiad movement), (Ishraqa Canon), and other blocs have also been marginalized.”
While Representative Yasser Iskandar and Tut contented themselves with answering the questions of “Al-Sabah” by returning to what he published on his Twitter account, as he said: “The exclusion of representatives of minorities from parliamentary committees is a flagrant violation of the principles of legislative work and paves the way for the deviation of the democratic path in Iraq at the hands of Claims of independence working under (......) and corrupt political money, ”as he put it.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the political bureau of the “Babylon” movement issued a statement that stated in one of its paragraphs that “with regard to the mechanism for distributing parliamentary committees, it lacked the most basic standards of democracy, justice and balance, and clear violations occurred in voting on the committees, which reflects a negative image in front of local and international public opinion.” ».
On the other hand, members of the House of Representatives stated that the parliamentary committee elections witnessed “relative democracy.” The head of the “New Generation” parliamentary bloc and member of the Integrity Committee, Sarwa Abdel Wahed, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “It is for the first time in the history of the Iraqi parliament that In this way, the replacement of members within the committees during the session to choose the chairmanship of the committees though
    There are several problems.”
She added that "there was (relative democracy) given that ten deputies from within the committee maintained their opinion and were not affected by the opinions of their blocs, which is the only positive step for selecting committee chairs." That the step of selecting the committees and their presidencies in this way be a “step towards change,” indicating that “the new generation did not obtain the presidency of any parliamentary committee, because it did not acquiesce in the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party,” which it described as “failed.”
While a member of the Sovereignty Alliance, First Vice-Chairman of the Finance Committee, Ahmed Mazhar Al-Jubouri, stated in an interview with Al-Sabah, that “the committee elections were smooth and lasted ten minutes. Usually, the objections of some deputies and their reactions to the formation of the committees came as a result of their “failure to win membership or chair the committees,” describing the process as “successful” and that the elections were “sound.”
For his part, the independent politician, Omar Al-Nasser, indicated in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that “there is no doubt that quotas are the mechanism on which the process of dividing the presidencies of parliamentary committees is based,” stressing that “the oversight role should be different and distinct in the current parliamentary session.” And effective, given that it is a sensitive stage and requires real political support and solidarity by all blocs and parties for the person of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani for his success in important files related to imposing state prestige, combating corruption and building a state of institutions.
In turn, the political analyst, Dr. Haider Salman, said in an interview with Al-Sabah: “There is an exclusion of independent forces, but it is also clear that there is a division of committees on the basis of quotas, components and partisan blocs.”
He added, “I do not think that there will be any summons to executive positions or some kind of accountability through parliamentary committees, inasmuch as they will be political files and there will be no criterion for efficiency and performance,” suggesting “disrupting the legislation of many laws.”
    task, including the budget.
The political analyst, Dr. Talib Muhammad Karim, explained to Al-Sabah that “what happened in the process of forming committees in the House of Representatives is similar to the process of dividing executive positions. Producing effective solutions to solve services and construction problems and addressing poverty.
