On Thursday, Representative Muhammad Qutayba al-Bayati demanded that an emergency session be held to discuss the dollar crisis.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Bayati said in an interview, “We submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives an official request to hold an emergency session to discuss the dollar crisis in the country, but it has not been approved yet and is still pending for unknown reasons.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, "The markets in Iraq are facing a scenario of collapse if the dollar continues to rise against the dinar, which leads to great pressure on the markets and the affected are the poor who make up a large percentage of society."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that "the situation is very dangerous and an emergency session should be held in the presence of the Sudanese government in all its relevant aspects, including the financial ones, in order to clarify the course of what is happening and the solutions that will be applied to contain the crisis before it gets out of control."[/size]
