Dollar turmoil confuses gas stations and commercial centers in the Kurdistan Region

Shafaq News / The fluctuation of the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar forced, on Saturday, gas stations and commercial centers in the Garmian administration of the Kurdistan Region, not to deal in dollars.
Citizens of the Germian administration expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that most gas stations do not deal with current dollar prices, and some do not deal with dollars due to the instability of its prices.
Ali Abbas, a resident of Garmian, spoke to Shafaq News agency, "Most or all of the fuel filling stations do not deal in dollars when selling fuel of all kinds because of the instability of its price in the markets."
And he added, "Some stations, since the beginning of the crisis of the rise in dollar prices, deal in emergency cases at the price of the dollar for (155) thousand dinars per (100) dollars, or do not deal in the first place."
It is noteworthy that most commercial centers and malls do not deal in dollars because prices are unstable and may incur losses in moments, and this matter negatively affected citizens who receive their salaries in dollars and hinders them from obtaining their life necessities.
