    Today, Saturday, a political movement confirmed that the Ankara meeting achieved 3 results on the dollar crisis in the Iraqi markets, including the conversion of internal dealings in Iraq into dinars exclusively.
    The head of the Bayariq al-Khair movement, Muhammad al-Khalidi, said in an interview with (Baghdad Today), that “the joint meeting between Iraq and America in Ankara to discuss the dollar crisis in the markets recently was difficult and somewhat complicated.” because of the divergent viewpoints, but at the end 3 important points were reached: Who will push to reduce exchange rates in the coming period?
    He added, "The most prominent of the understandings is the Sudanese government's pledge to control the file of dollars smuggling outside Iraq, as it smuggles to more than 15 countries, in addition to redrawing the financial map by paying to adhere to the electronic platform in paying sales of merchants and companies abroad and pushing internal markets to deal. in dinars in order to reduce the demand for buying dollars.
    He pointed out that "the understandings will lead to an increase in the rates of dealing in dinars in the markets instead of hard currencies, and this is very important and will lead to moving the activity of the local industry as much as possible," stressing that "smuggling is still a major problem in the country that must be addressed."
    And he acknowledged that "adherence to the understandings will lead to a gradual reduction of exchange rates in the Iraqi markets during the coming period," stressing that "the Sudanese government is trying to proceed with complex and very difficult economic and financial reforms to distance the markets from a severe crisis looming on the horizon."
