     Today, Monday, an official source revealed that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani had received a study on the exchange rates of the dollar. 
    The source told (Baghdad Today) that "Al-Sudanese received a short while ago a study from the Central Bank of Iraq that includes reducing the exchange rate of the dollar."
     Yesterday, Sunday, the coordination framework issued a statement regarding developments in the political and security scene, as well as fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate.
    The framework stated, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that "a meeting was held in Haider al-Abadi's office in the presence of the Prime Minister, and developments in the political and security scene were discussed, as well as a discussion of the draft federal budget law, which the latter intends to present to the House of Representatives. 
    According to the statement, “the prime minister provided a detailed explanation of the mechanisms on the basis of which the federal budget was drawn up and the extent of its compatibility with the government program, as well as the dialogues that the Central Bank of Iraq conducted.” with the US Federal Bank in Istanbul two days ago and the reform packages issued by the Central Bank of Iraq." 
    The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar has witnessed a gradual increase since November 2022, reaching its highest levels in recent days, as it crossed the barrier of 170,000 dinars by 100 dollars.

    Today, Monday, the advisor to the Prime Minister, Diaa Al-Nasseri, confirmed that the exchange rate of the dollar will be reduced, according to the proposal of the Central Bank.
    Al-Nasseri said in a tweet to him, "The exchange rate of the dollar will be reduced according to a proposal submitted by the Central Bank of Iraq to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani."
    Today, Monday, an official source revealed that the Central Bank of Iraq completed its study on reducing the exchange rate of the dollar and submitted it to the Prime Minister.
