Today, Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the arrest of an official in the Amarah Agriculture Division, on the grounds of organizing illegal fertilizer processing transactions and seizing their amounts.
The Commission’s Investigation Department stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that “the commission’s investigation office in Maysan thousand worked a team to investigate immediately upon receiving information that includes the director of the Building Agriculture Division organizing fertilizer processing transactions for the two substances (urea and dab) in 2023 with names, some of which are deceased.” They are over 100 years old.
And she added, "Her team rushed to the headquarters of the Amarah Agriculture Division, where it conducted investigations, investigations and audits, and found that the information was correct, and copies of the stake holders' records were linked, as it was found that the director disbursed more than one share to one farmer in violation of the controls and instructions issued by the Ministry of Agriculture."
