     Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, revealed, on Wednesday, an expected visit to the UAE in search of a "sustainable partnership", noting at the same time that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries exceeds $16 billion.





    Al-Sudani said, in press statements today, that "our visit to the UAE will come in search of a sustainable partnership for the benefit of our two countries and peoples," stressing, "We do not forget the UAE's diplomatic role in supporting Iraq."
    He added, "Our talks with our brothers in the UAE will discuss the exchange of experiences in various fields," noting that "the UAE is one of Iraq's most prominent trading partners."
    And that "the volume of trade exchange between Iraq and the UAE exceeds 16 billion dollars," explaining that "the visit comes as confirmation of Iraq's sincere desire to continue and develop trade and economic cooperation and attract investments."
    Al-Sudani revealed that he would discuss "with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the recent political and diplomatic developments in the region and the positive results from (Baghdad Summit 2)," stressing that "the visit aims to confirm the Iraqi government's insistence on confronting corruption."
