Interim Budget Committee calls on the government

The interim Budget Committee asked the government to speed up sending the current year budget to be adjusted.
The MP, Helal al-Sahlani told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / “The interim committee addressed the government to send the current year budget to the parliament to discuss the amendments put forward by the Interim Committee.”
Sahlani added, “Sending the current year budget to parliament quickly will contribute to the completion of the amendments and vote on them, before the budget of the next year reach.”
The House of Representatives has listened on Monday to the report of the Chairperson of the temporary Committee on budget Majda al-Tamimi, which will be compared with what the Acting Minister of Finance said during his hosting last Saturday in order to speed up the passage of the current year budget. / End
