The American "ROW" organization, revealed in an economic analysis it published today, Wednesday, a major problem facing the Iraqi economy, as it is still "dealing with cards."
The organization said in its analysis, which was translated by (Baghdad Today), that the world today, even in developing countries, has succeeded in embracing the electronic financial trading system in daily life uses, which greatly reduced dependence on paper currency and created great Opportunities for the economies of countries to be independent to a large extent, the effects of negative supply and demand within the market, which does not apply to Iraq, where "paper is king."
The organization showed that Iraqi citizens "do not have confidence in the electronic payment system, or banks," revealing that "less than a fifth of the Iraqi people only own bank accounts, and smaller percentages own credit cards," explaining that "the major electronic defense companies such as Paypal, Stripe and Apple Pay, they are afraid to work inside Iraq because they see them as very dangerous, amid complete disregard by the authorities to address this great weakness," according to her description.
As for entrepreneurship, the organization pointed out that "Iraq has declined significantly negatively as a result of the weakness or complete absence of electronic defense systems in the country," citing statements by economists and entrepreneurs, who assured it that "many job opportunities, combating Unemployment, and small personal projects are completely suspended. Because of the difficulty in obtaining an electronic currency trading system.
And she indicated that "the disruption of development in the field of electronic currency trading is not only hindered by the lack of local confidence in banks and the lack of solid systems, but also by the weakness of the Iraqi infrastructure for communications," as the organization confirmed, "despite the issuance of fifteen licenses for trading platforms by the Iraqi government." Zain Cash, Asia Hawala, Nass Walt, Fast Buy and others were electronic, but they were unable to achieve tangible progress in raising the rates of using electronic currency trading, as a result of the weakness of the Internet, and the disruption of services at many times, according to the description of the organization.
