The Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Thursday, the continuation of meetings with Baghdad, stressing that a government delegation will visit the capital soon to discuss several important issues in order to reach understandings regarding them.
"Our meetings are continuing with Baghdad, and the capital will be visited soon," said the spokesman for the regional government, Jutier Adel, in a press conference, noting, "We have a vision, which is to rely on the Iraqi constitution."
He stressed, "We are continuing our meetings with the Sudanese government, and we have points agreed upon and others not," noting that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani's program contains several important paragraphs, including the oil and gas law."
He pointed out, "There are several important issues that will be discussed with the Baghdad government, namely Article 140, the budget, security, the Sinjar Agreement, and other issues, and we are working to reach an understanding with the Iraqi government."
