    The Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Thursday, the arrest of 6 officials and employees in Nineveh Governorate, on charges of organizing dozens of fictitious transactions to disburse sums of money through fraud and fraud.

    A statement by the Commission stated, “The Commission’s Investigation Department, in its discussion of the operation that took place according to a judicial note, stated that a team from the Commission’s Investigation Directorate in Nineveh was able to arrest each of the administrative assistant, the official of the Human Resources Division, and an accountant in the Nineveh Water Directorate, as well as an official The Legal Division, Jurist and Auditor of the Agricultural Supplies Company - Nineveh Branch, referring to their participation in fraud and defrauding employees of the Governorate Water Directorate, and organizing fictitious transactions to disburse sums of money and cause damage to public money.

    The statement added, "The defendants - with participation and collusion - took the fingerprints of employees of the Nineveh Water Directorate who are not good at reading and writing on guarantees and pledges for fictitious agricultural equipment processing transactions in a fraudulent way, pointing out that they deluded the employees that the fingerprints taken are to add a two-year contract service." .

    He explained that "the operation, which was carried out based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code, also resulted in the seizure of (39) transactions, to supply farmers with agricultural equipment at (049, 068, 367, 1) billion Iraqi dinars. The statement indicated,

    " Organizing original arrest reports, and presenting them, along with the accused, to the judge of the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues; to take appropriate legal action.
