Friday, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency set a hot number to aim to reduce crimes that harm the country's economy.

And the agency stated in a statement that “NAS” received a copy of it (February 10, 2023), in which it addressed the citizens, “Be up to the responsibility and contribute with us by implementing the Central Bank of Iraq’s procedures to maintain the stability of the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar by calling the hotline and for free (144 ) which operates 24 hours.
She explained that this number is in order to report "currency smuggling operations and manipulation of dollar exchange rates, mobile money exchanges and unofficial transfers."
