Today, Sunday, the advisor to the Prime Minister for Social Protection Affairs, Sanaa Al-Moussawi, revealed that salaries have been allocated to students and university students within the families covered by social protection in the 2023 budget.
Al-Moussawi said, in a statement to the official news agency, that "there are 600,000 families that will be included in social care within the current year's budget, after it was scheduled to include only 300,000."
And she emphasized, "There is a statistic that will be done on the number of students who are in the family that receives social protection, and they will have a salary from the primary to university levels, which is called the conditional subsidy if they are continuing their studies."
She added, "Students registered in the database while continuing their studies will receive salaries as a conditional grant," explaining that "until now, the student's salary has not been determined, but initially, the primary stage will be 30,000 dinars per student, and 70,000 dinars for the university, if it is approved by the Council of Ministers." ".
She pointed out that "there is a meal to include orphans and they have been registered in the database, and the number of those included will be announced, whose salaries will be released next month, in addition to the widows and divorcees in the database."
