    The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, is visiting Turkey and the cities affected by the earthquake to express his condolences for the disaster that befell it, according to media close to the presidency.

    According to the available information, the President of the Kurdistan Region will visit today several Turkish cities that were severely damaged in the February 6 earthquake. He will also meet with the search and rescue teams that set out from the Kurdistan Region.  
      
    Semi-official sources stated that the President of the Kurdistan Region is meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara today. He will then return to the territory.
