The representative of the coordination framework, Mortada Ali, confirmed that the political and parliamentary orientations focus on adopting the St. Lego 1.9 system in the upcoming parliamentary elections, pointing out that the general trend is towards amending the law and establishing a single constituency instead of multiple constituencies.
Mortada Ali said, "The previous election law applied the St. Lego 1.7 system, and there is a tendency to re-implement it, but the matter is still not settled whether it was 1.7 or 1.9, but most political opinions lead to adopting the St. Lego 1.9 system in the elections."
He added, "The parliamentary elections law will be implemented according to the one-district system for each governorate instead of the multiple constituencies that were adopted in the previous elections, so that the votes are mobilized in one list."
And that "the counting and sorting of the election results will be in accordance with what was issued by the Federal Court after the last elections, so that the manual counting and winning is adopted instead of the electronic one, which caused many problems."
