The Nakheel Center for Press Rights and Freedoms called on the Media and Communications Commission, today, Wednesday, to conduct real reviews of this list and to involve civil, human rights and journalist organizations and experts in the field of law and media in order to reach a list that does not leave any negative loopholes that can be exploited.
In a statement received by the National News Center, the center said: “We were briefed with much astonishment and astonishment at the regulation of digital content prepared by the Media and Communications Authority with the aim of combating negative content on social media and regulating the work of websites, but it included very dangerous vocabulary and paragraphs and others that involved On loose phrases that can be exploited and distorted to restrict freedoms and liquidate personal rivalries.
He added, "At a time when we appreciate the keenness of all parties to improve electronic content, organize its work, and combat degrading and vulgar content that offends society a lot, we express our fear of exploiting this campaign by poisoning honey and adapting laws and instructions to undermine journalists and bloggers and restrict freedoms."
The Center called on the Media and Communications Authority to “conduct real reviews of this list and to involve civil and human rights organizations, journalists, and experts in the field of law and the media, in order to reach a list that does not leave any negative gaps that can be exploited.”
