    On Thursday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, discussed resolving the files between Erbil and Baghdad with the President of the French Senate.[/size]
    [size=45]Barzani said in a statement, "As part of our official visit to France, we met Thursday with the President of the French Senate, Gerard Larch, in Paris, and we discussed the general situation in Iraq and the region and the need to resolve the files between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government on the basis of the constitution."[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, "The President of the French Senate, with respect and appreciation, referred to the struggle and sacrifices of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces, especially in defeating ISIS terrorists and protecting the various components in the Kurdistan Region."[/size]
    [size=45]And Barzani stated that;[/size]
    [size=45]The importance of implementing the Sinjar Agreement, normalizing conditions therein and preparing for the return of the displaced to their areas was another part of the meeting, according to the statement.[/size]
    [size=45]In a related context, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, visited the Presidency of the Municipality of Paris, and was received by the Mayor, Anne Hidalgo, who indicated that Kurdistan has a special place in the hearts of the French, and also touched on her visits to the Kurdistan Region.[/size]
    [size=45]At the same time, it expressed its willingness to carry out joint works and projects with the city of Erbil. The Prime Minister expressed the appreciation of the Kurdistan people for the continuous support provided by the French people, as well as thanking the municipality of Paris for the assistance it provided as a twin with Erbil.[/size]
