    Earth News / The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, announced today, Wednesday, the amendment of the clause on employing national labor in investment projects to 70%.
    Al-Asadi said, in a statement received by Earth News, that "it was decided to amend the clause on employing national labor in investment projects by 70 percent, compared to 30 percent of foreign labor."
    He added, "This paragraph will contribute significantly to providing job opportunities for the unemployed and employing large numbers of Iraqi labor," noting that "the Council of Ministers has previously approved the recommendations of the committee formed to correct the situation of illegal labor in Iraq, including regulating the entry of foreign workers." In investment projects and determining their percentage in them, as well as projects related to oil fields and licensing tour companies.
