Earth News/ The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee revealed today, Wednesday, the goals of the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Baghdad.
Committee member Jabbar Al-Kinani told Earth News, "This visit comes within the framework of coordinating bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as completing consultations on joint regional and international issues."
He added, “One of the goals of the visit is also to perpetuate Iraq’s role in bringing the countries of the region closer, where the Iranian-Saudi negotiations and talks will take place in their fifth and sixth phases, as Iraq will sponsor them for rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia.” .
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, arrived in the capital, Baghdad, late on Tuesday night.
