    Today, Wednesday, the Iraqi Al-Waqa’i newspaper published the municipal imports law and controls on the import and sale of alcoholic beverages.
    In the latest issue (4708) of the Official Gazette, "Iraqi Facts", the text of Article (14) of the Municipal Imports Law prohibits the import, manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages, and imposes fines on violators.
    And the Iraqi Council of Representatives voted on (October 22, 2016), during its 24th session of the first legislative term of the third legislative year, headed by Salim al-Jubouri and in the presence of 226 deputies, on the controversial municipal revenue bill.
