He added, "The preliminary results of the delegation's understandings with Baghdad revealed that it had reached significantly advanced stages regarding the understanding on the oil and gas law, as the imports of selling oil in all countries will be in one basket, and the administration will be joint," pointing out that "the delegation has decided Likewise, the file of the region’s share of the 2023 budget, where it was agreed to allocate 14% of the funds of the financial budget to Kurdistan.
Regarding the mechanism for sending the funds allocated from Baghdad to the region within the 2023 budget, Karim said, “The discussions between the Kurdistan delegation and Baghdad decided to send the money in the form of a financial loan until the completion of the oil and gas law legislation, given that the Federal Court issued its ruling preventing the payment of financial payments to the region.” ".
It is worth noting that the Federal Supreme Court in Iraq issued a decision on the twenty-fifth of last January, annulling all government decisions related to transferring funds to the Kurdistan region.
