Today, Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani affirmed, while hosting the delegations participating in the 34th Conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union, that the country is moving towards an independent and prosperous Iraq.
Al-Sudani's media office said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that he "hosted the delegations participating in the 34th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union," noting that "he held a dinner in honor of the delegations participating in the conference hosted by the capital, Baghdad."
Al-Sudani expressed his "welcome to the participating delegations, once again Iraq's tendency towards concluding constructive, long-term development partnerships with brothers, in order to face challenges, in a way that achieves the interests of all brotherly peoples."
Al-Sudani assured the guests of the conference that "our country has overcome the ordeal, and is moving strongly towards an independent, stable, unified and prosperous Iraq."
