    The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed the importance of investing in the stability the country is witnessing by improving the general conditions.
    A statement from the office of the President of the Republic stated that the latter “received, in the Baghdad Palace, the delegation of the Community Opinion Authority headed by Sheikh Abboud Waheed Al-Issawi.”
    The President of the Republic stressed, according to the statement, the necessity of “consolidating the security and stability achieved in the country and starting from it towards strengthening the prospects for development, construction and reconstruction, pointing to the need to highlight the true picture of the stable situation in the country.”
    The President of the Republic touched on "the importance of the role of societal elites, including the clan, in fortifying society and limiting negative phenomena and influences that have entered our societies as a result of various factors, which requires concerted efforts to curb negative phenomena."
    The president indicated that "the political and security stability the country is witnessing should be invested in by improving general conditions, especially improving the living conditions and services for all citizens, initiating the construction of basic infrastructure projects and encouraging investment opportunities."
    In turn, the members of the delegation expressed their hope that "His Excellency the President would adopt the societal reform initiative for the purpose of addressing cracks in society, such as drugs and misuse of means of communication and communication, in a way that preserves values ​​and traditions and promotes responsible freedom."
    The president welcomed the initiative, stressing the need to “address negative phenomena in society,” pointing to “the importance of forming a committee in this regard that includes the concerned ministers, a representative of the prime minister’s office, parliament, the judiciary, and specialists in these fields.”
    The delegation appreciated the proposals of the President of the Republic, stressing their support for them and the necessity of “implementing the government program that aims to improve the living and service conditions of citizens.”
