Al-Jubouri said in an interview with the “After the Investigation” program broadcast by Al-Sumaria TV, “Since 2003 until now, there has been a major plan against Iraq in order to destroy agriculture in it, after the mercy bullet was fired on agriculture in it, and the neighboring countries feared that Iraq would turn from a consumer into a source of agricultural materials.” Stressing that "there is a foreign conspiracy against Iraq and agriculture in order to turn it into a country that imports even water and the simplest agricultural products."

A member of the Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Committee, Representative Thaer al-Jubouri, confirmed today, Thursday, that there is a plan and an external conspiracy to destroy agriculture in Iraq and turn it into a consumer country.
