    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani directed a review of the sums deducted from the salaries of employees, retirees and social protection.[/rtl]

    [rtl]The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by (Iraq Today) that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the Committee for the Localization of Salaries and the Unified Treasury Account, in the presence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, the Minister of Finance, the Prime Minister's advisors, and the general managers of the Rafidain and Rashid banks and the Iraqi Trade Bank. And the representative of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added, "The meeting discussed the unified treasury account, setting the salaries of employees in all state departments, applying the electronic payment system (pos), and deliberating on contracting with an international consulting company, to advance the reality of lagging banks."[/rtl]
    [rtl]He stated that "electronic payment companies were discussed and their work evaluated, and a lot was discussed about the amounts that are deducted from the salaries of employees, retirees and social protection as a result of contracts previously concluded between banks and these companies, and what They contain clear injustice to the citizen," pointing out that "the Prime Minister directed the preparation of new standards And announcing the opening of competition between all electronic payment companies, which number about 16 companies, and contracting with companies that provide the best services At lower costs, and following up the work of the committees that were formed to study the amount of money deducted from the salaries of beneficiaries when any withdrawal or service process.[/rtl]
    [rtl]He continued, "It was decided that all electronic payment companies specialized in localizing the salaries of employees and benefits will be subject to follow-up and competition."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Prime Minister stressed, "Not allowing the employee or beneficiary to be a hostage to other parties," explaining that "the unified treasury account system will contribute to reducing corruption."[/rtl]
    [rtl]The meeting witnessed an emphasis on the importance of the government's unified account, which allows access to the actual daily balance of the government to determine its expenditures, rather than distributing it to more than one account, and it also allows for the liquidation of accounts and the removal of duplicates from them.[/rtl]
