    Information/Baghdad..
The representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Shammari, suggested, on Saturday, that the quorum be completed during today's session in order to vote on the second reading of the Provincial Councils Law, indicating that the number of opponents to the law is shy and will not harm the quorum for the session.
Al-Shammari said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that "the majority of the representatives of the State Administration coalition supports the approval of the draft provincial elections law, which will be read again during today's session."
He added that "the opponents of the law are few in number compared to the number of representatives of the State Administration Coalition, and their failure to attend or withdraw upon reaching the second reading paragraph will not violate the legal quorum."
He explained that "the completion of the quorum for the second reading of the local elections law in today's session is necessary to set the deadline for the next elections."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives identified the second reading paragraph of the third amendment to the Provincial and District Councils Law No. (12) of (2018) within the decisions of the tenth session of the second legislative year of the House of Representatives. End / 25 p.m
