Al-Maliki: Shaaban's uprising broke the barriers of fear and caution

[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The Secretary-General of the Islamic Dawa Party, Nouri Al-Maliki, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Shaaban uprising broke the barriers of fear and caution, indicating that it is a popular revolution in all dimensions.
Al-Maliki said in a statement, "Years pass after years, and the Iraqis still remember the Sha'ban uprising in 1991, in which the heroes of Iraq, men and women, broke the barriers of fear and caution, and defied the mightiest dictatorships in the modern world with bare chests and hearts as iron as they liberated cities and towns one by one from the hands of the Baath Party. The defeated,” noting that “the Iraqis remember at this time those glorious days in which everyone cohesively, and Iraq rose from its north to its south as one renaissance, as the defiant cries unified and the iron fists were raised for the dignity of Iraq And its people and for the Iraqis to live a life of freedom and glory, after the tyrants made them taste all kinds of torment, deprivation and bitter siege.”
He added, “Our Iraqi people, in their immortal uprising, regained their identity, which the criminals wanted to obliterate and cancel, and regained their unity and cohesion that the traitors wanted to tear apart with the stinking knives of hatred, sectarianism and chauvinism. Yes, the Iraqis regained their white face after tearing off the masks of darkness and expelling the nightmares of laziness and humiliation, and so are the free Iraqis. They always remain ready to expend precious and precious things for the sake of pride, values and the homeland at all times and places,” explaining, “The Shaaban revolution was a popular revolution in all dimensions, and victory would have almost been its ally, had it not been for the cruelty of the executioner, the bloodthirsty tyranny, the use of the most violent forbidden weapons,
He stated that "this bold revolutionary attempt, and the blood and souls spent in it, and the great and limitless giving, laid the foundations for a strong opposition political position that was a thorn in the eyes of the oppressors and heralded the dawn of the an era of freedom, independence and dignity.”
And he continued, "Congratulations to those who sacrificed in this national revolution among the heroes of the marshes, at whose hands the revolution was launched in the governorates of Dhi Qar, Basra, Maysan, Muthanna, Diwaniyah, Babel, Najaf, and the holy Karbala, and the provinces of Kurdistan and all the noble provinces that responded to the revolutionaries' call and became involved in the overwhelming Iraqi anger, and congratulations to the martyrs while they were alive. With their Lord they are provided, and congratulations to the wounded, the homeless and the tortured for this great national achievement,[/rtl]
