[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, confirmed that there is no specific date for the budget to reach Parliament for approval.
Cougar said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "There is no communication between the Finance Committee and the government regarding the state's general budget law for the year 2023," pointing out: "The Finance Committee and Parliament do not interfere in issuing new laws, which are within the jurisdiction of the government."
He added, "The Finance Committee did not receive a new salary scale law for employees, as well as amending the Pensioners Law," indicating that there is talk about studying the two laws in the government.
