The General Electric Company announced, on Wednesday, that it has developed advanced plans for the production of electric power by taking advantage of associated gas in Iraq.
And she stated, "The technology of the mobile turbine units that it uses provides effective solutions in this regard," revealing "the ability of the technology it uses to produce 10 gigawatts of electricity in the event that all the gas that is burned in Iraq is collected," according to the official newspaper, "Al-Sabah".
The company's executive director, Rashid Al-Janabi, said, "In the field of securing energy in a sustainable manner in benefiting from gas associated with the production of electric energy, the company possesses advanced technology to benefit from this gas for energy production, which are effective and immediate solutions that can be applied within a very short time, including technology."
