    The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, confirmed during his meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, in Erbil, "The government is moving towards building confidence among the Iraqi components, and that all problems are solvable if there is a real will."
    A statement from the Prime Minister's Office, received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Barzani welcomed Al-Sudani's visit, "again thanking the government for adopting the draft law to transform Halabja into a governorate," stressing "the support of the regional government for the reformist steps of the federal government, and that it will lead Iraq to safety."
    Barzani held, according to the statement, "a dinner in honor of the presence of the Prime Minister, attended by heads of parties in the region and representatives of religions and sects."
    In a speech to the audience, Al-Sudani praised "diversity, which is a factor of strength among the spectra of the Iraqi people, stressing the government's adoption of this constructive vision."
    He also indicated that "the partnership between the sons of one Iraqi people is the path to the future and prosperity," stressing, "leaving the term outstanding problems between Baghdad and Erbil, and the need to go to partnerships that enhance cooperation and development."
    The heads of parties and representatives of religions and sects expressed their happiness at Al-Sudani's visit to the Kurdistan region, stressing that his government's program "carries a glimmer of hope for the Iraqis, appreciating his visit and his participation with our Kurdish people in their joys in the Nowruz celebrations."
