    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani and the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, discussed a package of files.

A statement from the presidency of the region stated that, "The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, and an accompanying delegation. During a meeting, the two sides discussed the relations of Erbil and Baghdad and the latest developments in the dialogue between them, and they exchanged views on the current conditions in Iraq and the challenges facing it.”

He added, “Nechirvan Barzani expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sudanese Prime Minister for completing the procedures for converting Halabja into a governorate and approving the draft general budget law for Iraq for the next three years for the purpose of voting on it in Parliament. "

Barzani affirmed, according to the statement, "the full support and backing of the Sudanese Prime Minister and the Iraqi federal government, describing the work that has been accomplished so far from the ministerial curriculum as positive and hopeful."

And the statement continued, "The Sudanese Prime Minister praised the role of President Nechirvan Barzani in bringing together the parties and his relations with the political forces and parties and the components of Iraq and his efforts and steps towards achieving harmony and understanding."

Al-Sudanese stressed, according to the statement, that "the stability, security and prosperity of Iraq, including the Kurdistan region, are linked to each other, and he promised to turn Halabja into a small service governorate in return for the crime committed against this city.”

The statement indicated that "the two sides agreed on the importance and necessity of cohesion and unity among the forces and components of Iraq in order to preserve the political stability of the country and solve the problems of Erbil and Baghdad on the basis of the constitution, and stressed the importance of the private sector and its role in the country's progress in all fields.

He pointed out that "the relations of Iraq and the Kurdistan region with neighboring countries and the latest developments in the region in general occupied another focus of the meeting."

After their meeting, President Nechirvan Barzani and the Sudanese Prime Minister participated in a joint meeting of the leaders of political forces and parties and representatives of the religious and national components in the Kurdistan region, in which opinions were exchanged on the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, according to the statement.[/rtl]
