A member of the Parliamentary Regions and Governorates Committee, Sherwan Al-Dobrani, confirmed, on Wednesday, the failure of the previous government to implement strategic projects, indicating that the citizen did not touch anything of the food security law.
Al-Dobrani said in a press interview seen by Taqaddam that “the main goal of enacting the law is to build modern roads, bridges, schools and hospitals, in addition to providing basic commodities.
He added, "The citizen did not find anything tangible on the ground, but the results were negative, and we witnessed a rise in prices of all foodstuffs."
He pointed out that “previous governments failed to manage state institutions and implement their government program properly, noting that ambiguity surrounds the implementation of the Food Security Law on the ground.”
