    Baghdad today - Baghdad
A member of the Electricity and Energy Committee, Tel Al-Saadi, confirmed that there is a great deal of work by international companies such as Siemens and General Electric to end the electricity file in Iraq.
Al-Saadi said in an interview with (Baghdad Today) that "there are problems facing us in production and transportation," noting that "these foreign companies play a role in developing production and transportation."
He explained that "Iraq suffers from a huge shortage of electricity, and the citizen is still suffering from frequent power outages," noting that "there is a government tendency to develop the files of oil and electricity production."
