    Information / Baghdad..
As soon as the arrest of the former head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Saad Kambesh, was announced by a special security force in the center of Baquba, calls for the arrest of more people involved in corruption and those linked to Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi accelerated.
Referring to the implementation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani's promises during previous statements that senior figures accused of corruption will be arrested and held accountable, one of the most prominent suspects has already been overthrown.
And according to the head of the former Sunni Endowment’s debt, Abd al-Khaliq al-Azzawi, in a post on his Facebook page, followed by the information, “a special security force raided the home of Saad Kambesh, the former head of the Sunni Endowment’s office in central Baquba, and succeeded in arresting him,” noting that “one of the most important reasons for his arrest was his involvement in files Great corruption, most notably the Armada Hotel.
He added, "The law will take its course in following up corruption files in state institutions."
Kambesh is considered close to Al-Halbousi in Diyala, and his sister is a deputy for the Taqadum coalition.
The corrupt secrets of Al-Halbousi are under the grip of Al-Sudani
The leader of the Azm Alliance in Diyala Governorate, Najat Al-Taie, had revealed that she had submitted a request to the Prime Minister about the liberated Cities Reconstruction Fund, which is completely dominated by Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
Al-Taie said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, "The Reconstruction Fund is funded by the state treasury and is dedicated to the reconstruction of cities affected by terrorism and not for the political promotion of some forces and blocs that exploit their power to impose their influence and control reconstruction projects directly."
And she added, "The Azm Alliance rejects any exploitation of state resources and submitted a request to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani in order to reconsider the file of the Reconstruction Fund in Diyala and to prevent the exploitation of its projects by any political party and to spend the money fairly on administrative units."
And she indicated that "stopping the exploitation of reconstruction projects is a priority for our political path in Diyala, which has suffered from multiple crises due to the exploitation of state resources by influential parties."
The Reconstruction Fund in Diyala faced repeated criticism by deputies and politicians because of the direct influence of some forces on its projects.
Corruption in the administration of the legislative branch
Former Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlaq had accused Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi of controlling Anbar province through repressive means, indicating that the people in the province would reject these approaches after starving and intimidating them, and new, more patriotic personalities would be elected.
Al-Mutlaq said in a televised interview, followed by Al-Maalouma, that "the corruption that controls Anbar province is so great that it has reached the point of starving and terrorizing the masses in order to continue loyalty to influential political parties in Anbar."
He added, "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi is the one who controls the province, and the government should open a comprehensive investigation on corruption in Iraq, especially in the western regions, where the authority is blackmailing the farmer and the taxi driver and seizing 20 percent of his financial income."
He pointed out that "the masses will elect new faces and prevent the continuation of the takeover of the province, despite the repressive methods adopted by the authority in Anbar and other Sunni areas," stressing that "opening a comprehensive investigation and holding al-Halbousi and any corrupt political party accountable gives the citizen positive indications regarding the real government's directions." over 25
