    Information / Baghdad...
A member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Raed Al-Maliki, affirmed that there is a set of important laws and proposals awaiting resolution with the government and the concerned committees in order to proceed with their legislation within Parliament, including retirement and social security for workers.
Al-Maliki told Al-Maalouma, "The retirement law proposal was submitted to the Presidency of Parliament, but it will go to the government, especially since such laws have a financial side that should be decided by the government."
He added, "The Parliamentary Legal Committee also has a law on child protection and domestic violence, which was discussed with the Women's Committee, as it seeks to legislate it during the coming period."
And he indicated that "the committee also has the retirement and social security law for workers, as it was deliberated with the Labor and Social Affairs Committee and civil society organizations in order to complete it, read it and vote on it in parliament." ended 25 n
