Member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Jabbar Al-Kinani, revealed, on Tuesday, the most prominent files that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani will present to Turkey, indicating that Al-Sudani will present the file of dollar smuggling through Kurdistan.
Al-Kinani said in a televised interview, followed by “Takadum”, that “Al-Sudani’s visit to Turkey is of great importance due to many problems and complications, and that the water file with Turkey is thorny and casts a shadow on citizens and their lives.”
He added, "The first goal of Turkey's visit is the water file, and that Al-Sudani has the ability to guarantee Iraq's shares, and he will discuss with Turkey the occupation of Iraqi lands by its forces during the war with ISIS."
He pointed out that "we will not accept the presence of foreign forces in Iraq in light of the presence of the security forces and the popular crowd, and that the station for smuggling Iraqi money is Turkey and through the Kurdistan region."
Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, left the capital, Baghdad, for Turkey, on an official two-day visit.
Parliament Rapporteur, Representative Gharib Askar al-Turkmani, said in a statement that "an official delegation headed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani left Baghdad, a short while ago, on an official visit to Turkey, which takes two days to discuss important files related to Iraqi and Turkish relations."
He added, "The visit aims to expand the horizons of constructive bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries to include various fields in order to achieve the aspirations of the two neighboring peoples for progress and prosperity."
