    The General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services at the Ministry of Commerce announced, on Tuesday, the setting of the date for the launch of the activities of the next (47) session of the Baghdad International Fair, which will have a "milestone" in the history of the fair from the technical, administrative and organizational perspectives.
    The general manager of the company, Adel Al-Masoudi, said in a trade statement received by (Baghdad Today): "Under the slogan (Iraq continues), the activities of the upcoming Baghdad International Fair will start, which is the most important economic and commercial event and a window through which economic relations can be achieved with various countries in the region and the world," stressing that "The period from 1 to 7 November 2023 has been set as the date for the launch of the activities of the next session."
    He explained, "This session coincides with what Iraq is witnessing in terms of clear development in achieving economic growth compared to previous years after the rise in global oil prices, which contributed to opening up investment prospects for countries wishing to participate in Iraq's reconstruction and infrastructure."
    He stressed, "The session of the Baghdad International Fair this year will be a clear and true message that Iraq is determined to build, rebuild and stand up to challenges."
    Al-Masoudi revealed, "The Baghdad exhibition is in the process of putting the final touches in terms of preparation and preparations and providing the appropriate ground and climate for companies and countries that have confirmed their participation in this session in order to make it a success and push the wheel of Iraq's economy forward."
    And he stated, "The technical staffs are constantly working to prepare all the halls, suites and surrounding spaces and show them in an appropriate manner in order to receive the countries and companies participating in this great economic event."
