On Wednesday, the Ministry of Electricity clarified its plan regarding processing hours during the holy month of Ramadan, and while announcing the preparation of a comprehensive Ramadan plan for the production, transportation and distribution sectors, it revealed deterrent measures against programming manipulators.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Musa said, "The Minister of Electricity directed earlier all the ministry's formations to prepare a plan to prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan, and that the hours of electricity supply are appropriate for this holy month," stressing that "the preparations were good for all sectors of production, transmission and distribution." .
Moussa added, "The minister stressed the control centers, taking into account the fairness of distribution, and there are deterrent measures for those who manipulate the programming, and that there is a specific concern for the times of breakfast and suhoor for those who are fasting," pointing to "the need to provide appropriate processing hours, especially after the high releases of the supplied gas, as the releases of Iranian gas after it was declining by 7 million, today it has become 25 million.”
He continued, "The high releases of the resource gas contributed to the operation of the Bismayah station at its full capacity, in addition to the operation of part of the Mansouriya station, as well as the operation of part of the Sadr gas station, which will contribute to the stability of electricity supply hours in general."
He stressed that "the ministry has prepared a good plan and its preparations are comprehensive for the sectors of production, transportation and distribution," pointing to "the ministry's keenness on its commitment towards citizens to provide relatively stable hours during the blessed month."
