Parliamentary Committee: Investment commissions are "tolerant" with investors

The Investment and Development Committee in the House of Representatives attributed the reluctance of some investment projects in the country to the negligence of investment agencies with investors.
Committee member Youssef Al-Nawfali told Al-Sabah: The reason for the reluctance of a number of investment projects is due to the negligence of the investment authorities with investors, pointing out that the committee is working to open the way for industrial investment in the country.
He added that "the committee is working to open the doors to foreign investment and to legislate a single window law to prevent cases of extortion and the sale of investment licenses," explaining that "the members of the committee are serious about evaluating the reality of investment."
