A member of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee, Basem Al-Gharabi, revealed, on Thursday, that he is anticipating the approval of laws that work is underway during the next phase to strengthen the health sector in the country.
Al-Gharabi said, in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, that "the committee held a series of meetings to discuss four important laws, including the paramedic law, the doctors and medical personnel protection law, the radiation protection law, and the Ministry of Health law.”
He added, "The law of the paramedic has been read for the first time, in addition to the law on radiation protection, which will be voted on during the upcoming sessions."
He explained that "the committee also discussed the Doctors' Protection Law and the Ministry of Health Law, which will be submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to be included on the agenda of the upcoming sessions for a first reading."

The Health and Environment Committee discussed earlier amendments to the law of the National Authority for Nuclear and Radiological Control.
