President al-Jubouri, the first cooperation agreement signed between the Iraqi Parliament and the United Nations for the purpose of development of legislative and regulatory action

The President of the House of Representatives, Dr. Saleem al-Jubouri, on Monday, the delegation of the UN Development Program, headed by Mr. Adam Abdel Mawla and Swedish Ambassador to Iraq, His Excellency Jürgen Ndstrm. During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the Iraqi Parliament and the United Nations; for the purpose of developing a strategy based on the law and good governance and transparency. For his part, President al-Jubouri, the price of the UN's role in Iraq, stressing the importance of building state institutions within the legal framework and rely on competent human resources. This was during the meeting, the signing of the first agreement of a joint work between the Iraqi parliament and the UN Development Program, including the development of the legislative and regulatory framework of the Council, and the use of the owners of experience in this field from both sides, in addition to open an office inside the Parliament cares about the implementation of the terms of the agreement and continue functioning and resulting .
