    On Saturday, the leader of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Hussein Al-Fatlawi, called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to move and open an extensive investigation regarding the involvement of the US military in using about 300 tons of depleted uranium missiles against Iraq . 
    Al-Fatlawi said, in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the whole world knows and is well aware that the United States of America used genocide weapons during its occupation of Iraq in 2003, and the evidence is very clear, as cancerous diseases remarkably spread in the central and southern regions, in addition to the spread of diseases and epidemics. Iraq did not know it before. 
    He added, “The confirmation of the Russian Defense Minister about the use of the United States, that the American army used 300 tons of depleted uranium during the invasion of Iraq (2003-2004), is another and new evidence of the American crimes against our Iraqi people.”
      He called on the government to "go to the international community, international humanitarian organizations and international courts to present all the facts, information and confessions of officials from all countries of the world."
     The Russian Ministry of Defense two days ago revealed that America had used nearly 300 tons of depleted uranium in its invasion of Iraq.
