MP Basem Khashan announced that he submitted a proposal to amend the election law.
Khashan said in a Facebook post followed by Mawazine News, "This is my proposal for the general election law, which will lead to the stability of the electoral process, ensure the achievement of change and reform, and avoid us falling into constitutional and legal vacuums."
Below is the text of the proposed amendment:
