Today, Sunday, the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee confirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government must be subject to the decision issued by the Arbitration Board of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, which stipulates that the region is prevented from exporting crude unilaterally.
A member of the committee, Bassem Naghimesh Al-Gharibawi, said, "Iraq's winning of the arbitration case in the case of exporting oil via Turkey is a positive decision and is in line with the Iraqi constitution and laws."

He added that "the Kurdistan region must submit to the federal government in the management of oil and contracts that it is conducting now," noting that "the federal government represents all sectors of the people and oil belongs to all the Iraqi people."
Yesterday, Saturday, the Ministry of Oil announced that Iraq had won the arbitration case in the case of exporting oil through Turkey.
