    Representative Amer Abdel-Jabbar revealed that Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi threatened to terminate the membership of parliamentarians.


    Abdul-Jabbar said during the session, "Al-Halbousi threatens to terminate our membership in parliament because we object to the election law."
     
    On Sunday evening, the House of Representatives held a session in the presence of 189 deputies, and decided to resume voting on amending the election law.
