[rtl]Baghdad / NINA /- Member of Parliament Bassem Al-Gharabi revealed, today, Monday, that Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi threatened independents to terminate their membership for trying to disrupt the "St. Lego" session.
Al-Gharabi wrote on his Facebook page, "They threatened to end our membership in the House of Representatives, thinking that we would be weakened. By God, my position tonight is dearer to me than membership in a parliament in which I do not represent the people of my people and be their voice of truth.”
And he explained in another post, "Al-Halbousi asks to vote on: referring the obstructed deputies to the Parliamentary Behavior Committee, referring them to the Public Prosecution!!! and waving the termination of their membership!!!"[/rtl]
