Today, Wednesday, a member of Parliament, Walid Al-Sahlani, explained the importance of restoring diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the situation in Iraq, while stressing that hidden conflicts negatively affect the entire region.
Al-Sahlani said in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, "The agreement between neighboring countries, especially in the Arab and regional environment of Iraq, positively affects the country's reality."
He added, "In the event of tension or hidden conflict between countries known to the minor and proximate, it will affect the situation in the region in general, including Iraq," stressing that "convergence in views, dialogue, and understandings creates a positive atmosphere at the level of diplomatic relations in general and Iraq in particular.” .
The member of the House of Representatives explained that "Saudi-Iranian relations, if they reach positive points, could be clearly reflected in the region, including Baghdad."
The American writer and political analyst, Charles Dunaway, had confirmed, earlier, that the detente between Iran and Saudi Arabia would lead to regional stability, which causes great concern to the Zionists, but the biggest loser in this detente is the United States.
Saudi Arabia, China and Iran announced the restoration of Riyadh's foreign relations with Tehran within a period not exceeding two months, while the two countries took the initiative to hold an important meeting during the holy month of Ramadan.
