The prices of “foreign and Iraqi” gold fell in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, today, Thursday.
Also, the gold prices in the wholesale markets on Al-Nahr Street in the capital, Baghdad, recorded this morning. The selling price for one 21-carat weight of Gulf, Turkish and European gold amounted to 420 thousand dinars, and the purchase price was 416 thousand dinars, while the selling prices for yesterday, Wednesday, were 423 thousand dinars.
In addition, the selling price of one 21-carat weight of Iraqi gold also recorded a decrease at 390 thousand dinars, and the purchase price reached 386 thousand.
With regard to gold prices in goldsmiths' shops, the price of selling a 21-karat gold weight in the Gulf ranges between 420,000 and 430,000 dinars, while the selling price of an Iraqi gold weight ranged between 390,000 and 400,000 dinars.
