Today, Friday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the implementation of an arrest warrant against (5) employees. For deliberately causing damage to the funds and interests of their department, noting that it monitored the names of more than (1,100) farmers who were supplied with fertilizers, contrary to the instructions, in the Municipality and Agriculture Departments in Maysan Governorate.
In a statement received by Shafaq News agency, the Commission's Investigation Department revealed that "the former director of the municipality of Al-Kahla exploited his job position and partnered with a number of municipal employees to rent a piece of land within the municipality's borders according to the Private and Mixed Industrial Investment Law No. (20 of 1988) for the purpose of establishing A blacksmith's factory, and benefiting from its imports in cooperation with the property official and the committee charged with following up the establishment of the factory.
The circuit indicated that the defendants exploited the plot of land; To build (16) shops and rent them out, contrary to the purpose for which the contract was concluded, indicating that they were negligent and disciplinary penalties were imposed against them by the investigative committee formed in the office of the Maysan Governorate, and arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code. After the authority’s work team in the governorate seized the property file, indicating that the arrest warrants issued against the former manager, the property official, and three employees were executed, and they were referred to the competent court; For the purpose of the investigation, they were released on bail.
In the Maymouna Agriculture Division, the Maysan Investigation Office team monitored tampering with the names of the farmers involved in the processing of fertilizers, after the Agriculture Division violated the regulations and instructions issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, and entered the names of (1134) farmers within the plan for preparing urea and dab fertilizers for the year 2022, and gave them preparation books .
And she added that the violations were represented in the inclusion of deceased persons, and others not from the area’s residents, while other farmers were granted more than one share, in addition to not organizing legal undertakings according to the Ministry’s instructions, and not conducting a fundamental examination, indicating that after presenting the investigative papers to the competent investigating judge, He decided to conduct the investigation in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Iraqi Penal Code of 1969.
